RJ Joshua, Head of Private Debt, Research Insights
RJ Joshua is Head of Private Debt, Research Insights at Preqin, the leading provider of data and intelligence on alternative assets. With 15 years of experience in the alternative investments industry, he is a CFA charterholder and a Physics graduate from the University of Oxford.
Lead author of Preqin’s flagship Future of Alternatives 2029. He is also the author of the Preqin Global Private Debt Report 2025, the authoritative report for trends in private debt, including fundraising, performance, forecasts and outlook. He is also responsible for covering private debt and fees across all alternative asset classes, providing comprehensive analysis and insights for investors and fund managers. He has a proven track record of sourcing, seeding, and negotiating investments in alternative funds, as well as facilitating product development, acquisitions, and restructurings. He is passionate about delivering high-quality research and thought leadership to the alternative assets community.
Claire Smith, Head of Business Development Australia, Private Markets, Schroders Capital
Claire Smith is based in Sydney and is responsible for working with clients to determine how private assets may help them meet their investment goals. Claire joined Schroders in their London office in 2017 as an Investment Director for the infrastructure financing business. There she was responsible for global fundraising for the infrastructure debt platform across investment grade and sub-investment grade debt.
Prior to Schroders, Claire was an Associate Director for Macquarie’s infrastructure debt business based in London which involved raising, structuring and managing commitments from global investors. Prior to that, Claire spent over a decade at Macquarie in Sydney and held a number of fund management, structured product and structured finance roles. With over 20 years of experience, Claire has been involved in the development and implementation of structured finance initiatives, managed funds and structured investment solutions for both institutional and wholesale clients covering a wide variety of asset classes.
Adam Reisler - StepStone Infrastructure & Real Assets
Mr. Reisler is a member of the infrastructure and real assets team. He has spent over a decade supporting investors globally with their infrastructure programs and at StepStone works with both institutional investors, as well as private wealth channels, to develop and invest infrastructure strategies across co-investments, secondaries and fund investments. Prior to joining StepStone, Mr. Reisler was a vice president in KPMG’s infrastructure investment advisory and asset management business, which was merged with StepStone in May 2016. Mr. Reisler received a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from McGill University and an MBA (Hons) and Diploma in infrastructure and real estate from the Schulich School of Business in Canada.
Paul Fraynt, PM & Head of Quantitative strategies, Franklin K2 Athena Fund
Paul Fraynt is a senior vice president and portfolio manager at Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions. Paul Fraynt joined K2 Advisors in January 2017 and was head of direct trading and quantitative strategies on the Investment Management team. Mr. Fraynt has over two decades of buy and sell-side experience specialising in Alternative Investments, including systematic risk premia strategies research, portfolio construction, asset allocation, as well as risk management. K2 Advisors is an alternative investment firm that merged with Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions in 2024.
Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Mr. Fraynt led risk premia research at Altemis Capital Management where he was also a member of the fund's Investment Committee. He also held positions at numerous Wall Street firms including Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, and Citigroup. In addition, he was an Adjunct Professor at Pace University's MBA program, teaching courses on Applied Behavioural Economics and Hedge Fund Strategies.

Andrew Lakeman, Co-founder, Head of Australia, Atlantic House
Andrew Lakeman is the Co-Founder and Director of Atlantic House Group, based in Sydney, Australia, a position he has held since September 2020. In this role, Andrew leverages his extensive background in financial services to help shape the company's strategic direction.
Prior to founding Atlantic House Group, Andrew was a Founding Member of Catley Lakeman Securities, where he contributed for over 14 years, from July 2008 to September 2022. His work at Catley Lakeman Securities provided him with a deep understanding of the financial markets, allowing him to foster significant relationships and drive business growth.
Before his entrepreneurial journey, Andrew honed his expertise as a Director of Equity Derivatives at Citigroup from 2005 to 2008. His tenure at Citi added a wealth of knowledge in derivatives trading and market dynamics.
